The 18th FIFA World Cup will renew its links to its legendary past. This time the Festivities will be held in twelve historic German cities. Over 3.5 million spectators from around the world will attend the matches, where every ticket is reserved seating. Over the thirty-one day span additional events and activities will be organized to compliment the excitement and competition. The twelve 2006 FIFA World Cup stadiums will be among the most attractive, comfortable and modern sports arenas in with world. Old stadium, such as the Olympiastadion in Berlin, which hosted the games in the 1974 FIFA World Cup, are being given a complete face lift. Newly build stadiums such as Munche, will combine state-of-the-art comfort with the ultimate in gig match atmosphere.
